South Africa won the toss and elected to field first. India lost their top order batsmans very early. that leads to India post 152 for 6 in 20 overs. Suresh Raina top scorer with 45 off 34 balls. Rohit Sharma made 25,Yuvraj Singh scored 21 from just 15 balls and MS Dhoni on unbeaten 23 runs from 13 balls. Robin Peterson take 2 for 25 runs and Morne Morkel got 2-28.
In the chasing the target of 153 runs,South Africa lose the Hasim Amla wicket in very first over. du Plessis top scorer for South Africa with 65 off 38 balls and consists of 6 fours and 2 sixes. du Plessis destroy the India's semi final hope with his half century. Finally South Africa were bowled out for 151 runs in 19.5 overs. Zaheer Khan took 3 for 22 runs. and Yuvraj Singh got 2 wickets for 23 runs. Yuvraj Singh named as the Player of the Match.
Sri Lanka will take on Pakistan in first Semi Final on Thursday and Australia face West Indies in 2nd Semi Final on the very next day.
