South Africa's Bowling department helped to crush New Zealand by eight wickets in the 1st Twenty20 International match at Durban on Sunday.
The tourists had won the toss elected to bat first. New Zealand batstmans struggled to get runs on the board, Most of the batsmans out for single digit. Collin Munro was the top scorer for New Zealand with 23 runs. Doug Bracewell made 21 runs and Jimmy Neesham had scored 10 runs.
New Zealand all out for 86 runs in 18.2 overs. Rory Kleinveldt claimed his country's best figures (2 for 8) in this format. Dale Steyn and Chris Morris take two wickets each.
In the chasing, hosts lost the openers early, but captain Faf du Plessis and Quiton de Kock leads the team in way of victory. du Plessis made unbeaten 38 runs and Quinton de Kock not out on 28 runs. Rory Kleinveldt named for the Man of the Match.
